In front of father’s eyes, Ankhi was brought up with caring and also became country’s one of the popular singers. As father, Alamgir is one of the most popular heroes in the country’s film arena. But her father could not realize how his once little baby girl has became one of the popular singers of present time.
Last Wednesday evening, a concert was organized at Tongi’s Pilot School playground to create awareness among people against drugs and militancy. Alamgir was present there as special guest on the occasion. Poppy, Riaz, Ankhi Alamgir, Zayed Khan, Salma and Beauty were also present there.
They performed there and around one lakh audiences were present. When the name of Ankhi’s was announced audiences were very much excited. Alamgir became astonished about the popularity of his daughter.
Alamgir told his daughter Ankhi, “Abbu, after returning home you will pray two Raka’at nafal prayer. Till now I thought I am very much popular to all but today I found u are also like me.”
Ankhi shared her feelings by this way, “It is one of my best gifts in my music career after getting appreciation from my father. Abbu is my main critic of my music. If I did any mistake I had to hear many harsh words from him but today he appreciated me. It is my best gift in my music career.”
In the concert, to keep request from the audience Alamgir rendered the song Ami dhonnyo hoyechhi ogo dhonnyo later.
