Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Haque said the government has undertaken initiatives to translate laws in Bangla which were prepared in English earlier so that mass people can easily understand these.
He said while addressing the inaugural session of a training programme on “Process of Making Law” at a city hotel, an official release said.
Legislative and Parliamentary Affairs Division and Access to Justice (A2J) and Human Rights in Bangladesh Project under UNDP jointly organized the function.
Presided over by Secretary of Legislative and Parliamentary Affairs Division Mohammad Shahidul Haque, the function was addressed by A2J Project Chief Technical Adviser Christian John Eldon and Deputy Secretary of Legislative and Parliamentary Affairs Division Dr Mohammad Mohiuddin.
