Amy, which has earned rave reviews since premiering at Cannes, has recorded the biggest ever opening weekend for a British documentary in the UK and the second biggest of all time. The film will expand nationwide in the US on July 10. The film, directed by Asif Kapadia, opened over a remarkably sunny UK weekend in 133 cinemas from July 10 that will expand to over 200, reported Guardian online.
