Amu urges people to be respectful to other religion

Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu urged the people of all walks of life to be religious instead of zealot. “Zealotry may bring disaster to the nation at any time,” he added.
Terming the Bengali nation as righteous and respectful to other religions the Industrious Minister said it was Hazarat (SM) who gave sermon to his followers in his last hajj speech.The Industries Minister said this while speaking as the chief guest at Keel Laying ceremony of a container laden first ship constructed by Chittagong Dry Dock Limited at the auditorium at Patenga last afternoon.
Amu said religion is a sacred asset of all devout people and it can never be used in politics and economy. The industries Minister said the present government led by Bangabandhu’s daughter Sheikh Hasian won another Bangladesh in the Bay of Bengal by fighting against India in the International court but unfortunately some people consider Awami League as a pro Indian Party.
