Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu has asked the officials of Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institution (BSTI) to take stern action against those involved in producing counterfeit and adulterated products in the country.
“To prevent selling of fake and adulterated products you must conduct operations in factories which are producing such products and you have to perform your duty maintaining highest moral and professional responsibility,” said the minister while speaking at discussion on Sunday.
BSTI organised the discussion styled “Measurements for transport” marking the World Metrology Day-2017 with BSTI director general Md Saiful Habib in the chair.
