Amitabha Editor joins international confce

The Editor and Publisher of “Amitabha” Shyamol Chowdhury will leave for India from Shah Amanat International Airport in Chittagong at 2:00 pm tomorrow (5th September) to join the “International Conference on Buddhism: Traditions, Ideologies and Dissent” on the invitation of the Gautam Buddha University in Greater Noida of Uttar Pradesh, India.
He will be present as the only Buddhist representative of Bangladesh to attend the three-day conference held from 7 September to 9 September, 2017, and will present articles on topics related to the “Buddhist Archaeological Landscapes of Bangladesh”.
Shyamol Chowdhury is the Editor and Publisher of Socio-literary & Cultural journal AMITABHA, An essayist, lyricist and Managing Director of an advertising agency & Event Management Company.
 He is also associated with many social and cultural organizations including the Organizing Secretary of Bangladesh Buddhist Kirsti Prachar Sangha Youth, Publication Secretary of the Center of Excellence in Buddhist Studies, Anoma, Amitabha Cultural Society.
 He was the first child of retired head teacher Suhrid Kanti Chowdhury and mother Snehalata Chowdhury of Belkhain village in Patiya Upazila of Chittagong. He will return to India on September 14, 2017 after visiting different Buddhist sites in India. He wanted everyone’s blessing.
