Another senior actress passed away. Veteran actress Amita Basu died at Birdem Hospital in the city’s Shahbagh area Friday morning. She was 69. She was later cremated at her native land Morelganj of Bagerhat yesterday.
Amita Basu was born on March 19 in 1946. She started her acting career by Salauddin’s directed movie Alomoti in 1969.
