Ambassador hands over plane tickets to Japan bound skilled workers

Japanese Ambassador Naoki Ito on Friday handed over smart cards, plane tickets to Japan bound skilled workers who successfully completed their technical trainings from Greenland Training center Dhaka.
The Japanese ambassador highly praised the skilled training of the Greenland Training center at Amulia, Demra, Dhaka.
He said that his country will continue recruit manpower from Bangladesh as
it has promised to take 3,50,000 skilled manpower from the friendly country.
Officials said that the ambassador handed over air tickets and smartcards to three skilled workers who have successfully completed the training under Overseas Employment in Japan Technical Interns Program (TITP).
Greenland Group Chairman Muhammad Abdul Hye presided over the programme.
Secretary of the Ministry of Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment Dr. Ahmed Muniruss Salehin, Director General of Manpower Employment and Training Bureau Shamsul Alam, MP from Demra 5 constituency Kazi Munirul Islam and local Ward Councilor Atiqur Rahman, among others, were present.
Farida Yesmin, In charge of the TITP of Greenland Group said, the trained three workers will leave country for Japan in two or three days.
They will get every facility there under the government rules.
Replying to a query she said that 25 more persons are now taking training from the technical center.
