Awami League’s new central full committee may be announced on tomorrow, party’s General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said it on Sunday.
“The AL Presidium members will sit on Tuesday. The announcement of the full committee may come after the meeting,” Obaidul Quader said it while talking with a group of journalists at his office in the Ministry.
The AL council on the final day of the two-day council elected 42 office-bearers of the 81-member central working committee, the party’s highest decision making body.
Obaidul Quader said that some new faces might be included in the central committee.
“Some changes in several posts may be found in the central committee to bring speed in the party,” he said.

The AL leader said that no one passed idle time in the last committee. So it is difficult to evaluate about the leaders before announcing new committee.
He said some leaders’ names are not seen in the announced committee. Some of them may be taken to working committee.
“It may be strategy of our party President Sheikh Hasina. She has vast experience, she knows what will be good for the party,” he said.
