All Stars Masters in final in Masters Cricket Carnival

Lanka Bangla All Stars Masters moved final of the Masters Cricket Carnival beating Judge Bhuiyan Dhaka Division Masters by six wickets in the first semifinal held on Saturday at Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium in Cox’s Bazar.
Batting first after winning the toss, Dhaka Division Masters, rode on Mehrab Hossain’s breezy half century, scored 97 for 7 from their stipulated 15 overs.
Mehrab smashed 57 runs off 45 balls with the help of four over boundaries to take his near the one hundred land mark. Hasibul Hossain Shanto captured two wickets for Al Stars conceding 14 runs.
In reply, All Stars faced early batting jolt as they lost Ahasanul Haque Sejan and Mohammad Selim but Javed Omar kept the other side intact and took his team Lanka Bangla All Stars at home with three balls remaining.
The former national team opener Javed led from the front with a match-winning knock of 42 runs while Lablu and Mukul supported him with 15 and 12 runs respectively. Zakir Hossain of Dhaka Division took two wickets.
