All members of Caribbean team test corona negative

All members of Caribbean team have tested negative for coronavirus after their first coronavirus test ahead of their three-match One Day International (ODI) series and two-match Test series against Bangladesh which beginning this month.
A 38-member West Indies Cricket team landed at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the city on January 10 for a one month’s long tour.
Then the members of the Caribbean team reached the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in Dhaka where they underwent Covid-19 Test on the first day. They will again undergo coronavirus test before they starting their practice session tomorrow at the National Cricket Academy Ground, which is adjacent to the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the city’s Mirpur.
Media Manager of West Indies Cricket team Dario Barthley said, ” All the members of our team have tested negative for coronavirus after entered Bangladesh.”
Bangladesh will take on the Caribbean team in the first ODI at the SBNCS on January 20, face West Indies in the second ODI at the same venue on January 22, meet West Indies in the third ODI at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium (ZACS) in Chattogram on January 25.
The first Test between the hosts and West Indies will be held at the ZACS from February 3 to February 7.
The second Test between Bangladesh and West Indies will take place at the SBNCS from February 11 to February 15.
