With handful of films in her kitty already, Alia Bhatt will be part of another interesting film, reportedly. According to latest reports, Alia has been signed on to play the titular role in the biopic of Arunima Sinha.
Arunima Sinha is India’s first female amputee who climbed the Mount Everest and achieved the rare feet. Arunima’s life was penned down as a book named ‘Born Again on the Mountain: A Story of Losing Everything and Finding it Back.’ “It’s an incredible tale. Alia studied her story and gave her nod to the project. Although the producers haven’t locked her dates yet, given that her diary is packed with other film commitments, they expect to begin the project in 2020,” a source was quoted as saying by DNA. Given the kind of films Alia has been doing lately, this will be another booster to her career.
Reports also reveal that the film would have backing by Karan Johar who has been in loop about the developments around the project.
