The Alliance Leasing and Finance Company Ltd (ALFCL) has started its journey in Dhaka, Bangladesh through a soft launch, aiming to provide user-friendly financial services.
The soft launch took place at the company’s office at Gulshan Avenue in Dhaka on Thursday, according to a press release.
The ALFCL is a joint collaboration of Bangladesh and Sri Lanka licensed by the Bangladesh Bank. Its main sponsor is People’s Leasing and Finance PLC, the leader in the Sri Lankan non-banking financial institution sector.
Bangladeshi partners include large corporate and individual business entities, such as Summit Group, Rangs Group, Alliance Holdings Ltd, Green Delta Insurance Company Ltd, Rabab Fashion Industry Ltd and Concept Knitting Ltd.
With a robust IT system and strong customer-oriented culture adopted from Sri Lanka, the ALFCL aims to provide technologically innovative financial services to the corporate, retail and the SME sectors.
Jowher Rizvi, Chairman of the company said “With a strong vision for the future and pioneering entrepreneurs at the helm, we aspire to provide user-friendly financial services to our customers and introduce innovative technologies for safe and easy money management.”
