Mohammad Alauddin was promoted to General Manager and joined Sonali Bank General Managers’ office in Rajshahi on May 31, 2018.
Prior, he worked as the branch head of Agrani Girls’ School branch, Bangabandhu National Stadium brach; Assistant General Manager in Rajuk Bhaban branch and Banga Bhaban branch; Deputy General Manager in Principal office, Motijheel; and Deputy General Manager (in charge) in General Manager’s office in Rajshahi.
He obtained a BA and MA in Public Administration from the University of Dhaka. He started his career as a Probationary Officer in 1983in Sonali Bank, the largest commercial bank of Bangladesh.
In his long 35-year career, he performed his duty successfully with dedication as head and principal officer in different branches.
Mr Alauddin is a Diplomaed Associate of IBB, an elected member of senate, Chairman of the central committee of Sonali Bank Bangabondhu Parisad.
He was born in a respectable Muslim family in Baufal of Patuakhali district in 1960. He is the father of four children.
