Awami League is not only ruling the country illegally, but also trying to revive one party rule of BKSAL by illegally detaining BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia.
Central BNP Joint Secretary General and City BNP President Adv Mojibur Rahman Sarwar addressing a gathering held in front of the party office at Ashwini Kumar Hall compound to observed 41st founding anniversary of the party on Sunday September 1, 2019 noon, said this as president of the gathering.
People would not tolerate the illegal and autocratic rule of AL and the innocent BNP chairperson detained illegally only for taking political revenge, Sarwar claimed.
The programme was addressed among others by Moniruzzaman Faruk, city vice president, Ziauddin Shikdar, city secretary of BNP.
Huge number of police were deployed in the city and surrounding the gathering spot, but the meeting ended peacefully without any unhappy incident.
