Chattogram Bureau :
The leaders of Chattogram City Unit of Awami League and its front organisations placed wreaths at the ardent of Shaheed Minar in the Port City yesterday night (zero hours) to pay respect to the martyred intellectuals.
Acting President of Chattogram City Awami League Mahtabuddin Chowdhry and General Secretary AJM Nasir Uddin led the wreaths placing ceremony attended by City Vice President Naimuddin Chowdhury, Adv Ibrahim Hossain Babul, Korshed Alam Sujan, Altaf Hossain Chowdhury , Noman al Mahmud, Chowdhury Hasan Mahmud and Advocate Iftekhar Saimul .
Besides, leaders of Jubo League, Sramik League, Chhatra League were also present on the occasion.
AL Acting President Mahtabuddin and General Secretary AJM Nasir Uddin delivered separate speeches on the occasion.
