Principal M Humayun Mahmud, former Joint General Secretary and Vice-President of Cumilla North District Awami League (AL) died on Thursday night. He was 66.
“Principal Humayun, also a former senate member of Dhaka University Central Student Union (DUCSU), died at 11.30 pm while he was undergoing treatment at Square Hospital in the city”.
His first namaj-e janaza was held at Iskaton garden Jam-e mosque in the city at 9am on Friday.
Cumilla North District Awami League, Jubo League and Chattra League expressed deep shock at the death of Principal M Humayun Mahmud.
