State Minister for Public Administration Ismat Ara Sadique on Sunday said the country has been witnessing a tremendous socioeconomic development during the Awami League (AL)-led government.
“The common people of the country are now getting the yields of the development activities done by the present government,” she said, adding that AL always works for the welfare of the people and the country.
The state minister came up with the remarks while inaugurating three RCC (Reinforced Cement Concrete) roads of total 1,280 meter-long constructed under UGUP-3 project at Keshabpur municipality in Jessore.
Ismat Ara said under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Bangladesh has become a role model of devolvement in the world.
Keshabpur Municipality mayor Rafiqul Islam Morol chaired the function while Upazila Awami League Vice-President Tapan Kumar Ghosh and Upazila Parishad Vice-Chairman Nasima Sadique were present on the occasion.
Later, the state minister exchanged views with people of Ramchandrapur,
Sujapur, Bhalukghar and Shikarpur villages.
