Ruling Awami League (AL) announced full committees of Dhaka City North and South units.
A press release, signed by AL central office secretary Abdus Sobhan Golap, said on Sunday (September 11).
The 69-member committees of AL Dhaka units also included nine members of advisory council for north and six for south.
The release said AL president and also Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on September 11 approved Awami League Central Working Committees of Dhaka metropolitan north and south units.
AL general secretary Syed Ashrarful Islam announced the new committees of Dhaka units in a press conference on April 10, mentioning AKM Rahmatullah as president and Sadeq Khan as secretary general for north and Abul Hasnat as President and Shahe Alam Murad as secretary general for south.
