SM Saifur Rahman, Rebel Mayoral aspirant for Chougachha Municipality in Jessore on Wednesday alleged that Awami League nominated candidate Noor Uddin – al- Mamun Himel is being forming committees to staff ballot papers rather than convincing voters. ‘Killers of noted politicians of the locality UP chairman Jillur Rahman Mintu, Ashraf Hossain Asha and BNP leader Mosharraf Hossain have been included in the teams’, the mayoral aspirant added.
The allegations were made at a press conference held at Jessore Press Club on Wednesday noon.
The former joint secretary of Chaugachha upazila unit Awami League also alleged that the AL mayoral candidate has already hired a number of terrorists including some influential BNP men for staffing ballot papers.
