Medium pacer Al Amin Hossain said it’s still possible to make the Test draw as because the batsmen have the ability to fight back in the second innings.
He was talking to the pressmen at a post-match press conference held at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.
“I think we’ve still chance to make the Test draw as you know we have some good batsmen like Mushfiqur Rahim, Shakib Al Hasan and Mominul Haque ..who have ability to play long innings,” said Al Amin when asked him of their next plan about the match.
Asked their target on the third day, the right-handed bowler said they would try to restrict Sri Lanka within 450 runs.
Replying to a question, Al Amin said bowlers got a little help from the wicket as the pitch is absolutely batting-friendly.
It was a great feeling for taking the Sangakkara’s wicket, Al Amin said.
Al Amin said coach gave them some plans about bowling so the bowlers get a little help from wicket.
