After the news that Rajinikanth reportedly contributed Rs 10 crore towards relief work, Akshay Kumar is the latest to join the bandwagon, having contributed Rs 1 crore to the activities. Apparently enlisting filmmaker Priyadarshan’s help to ensure he could contribute in the right direction, Akshay Kumar has aided the activities of the Bhoomika Trust, run by Mani Ratnam’s wife, Suhasini.
