Aklima for dev of poor in BD thru’ promotion of girls’ education

Human right activist Aklima Bibi has sought role of media in attaining national progress as Bangladesh is now on the way to development and making its endeavor towards flourishing democratic process.
‘It is our sacred responsibility to nourish and foster this development process through concerted efforts so that a happy and prosperous country is established,’ he said this while talking to journalists at Sylhet city on Friday.
Aklima Bibi said, “No barrier for education” British girls promoting girls education in rural Bangladesh; to improve the educational standard of Balagonj upazila, UK expatriates were playing a significant role by encouraging talented students of this region. He urged the teachers to take more liabilities to teach students. Aklima Bibi after helping to fund the school projects. Aklima Bibi is very fortunate to had the support of her boss John Holtam of Legal Solutions Parthership (LSP), who supports her human rights campaign and her humanitarian cause of helping vulnerable people, especially woman and girls. She says John Holtan is keen to support her cause in Bangladesh and will not doubt be visiting Bangladesh soon. Aklima Bibi says she very fortunate to have such supportive employers especially her boss John Holtam.
She said that a good newspaper is the mirror of the society that reflects the overall development and affairs of a nation in its true perspective. Aklima Bibi, a well-known journalist and community leader also said, the role of newspapers, however, is of paramount importance in building a prosperous society as well as a nation. Terming Bangladesh as a ‘developing country’, he said the country has been facing various Problems and striving hard to attain the cherished development goals since its independence. She sought cooperation from all socity to build Bangladesh a happy and terrorism and corruption free country.
