A meeting of Greater Comilla Journlist’s Forum (GCJF), Chandpur-Comilla-Brahmanbaria), Dhaka was held at Dhanmondi’s residence of Amader Orthonity Editor Md. Naimul Islam Khan on Friday last. The meeting was presided over by former chief reporter of Daily Ittefaq and President of the Forum Syed Akhter Yusuf.
The meeting has decided to strengthen the activities of the Forum. Syed Akhter Yusuf (former chief reporter of daily Ittefaq) was made President and veteran freedom fighter Md Mofizul Islam (Editor, Sachitra Protibedon) was made General Secretary respectively.
Other Executive Members of the Forum are: Vice-Presidents: Sowkot Mahmood, Mostafa Kamal Mojumder, Shah Alamgir, Forida Yasmin, Nasima Khan Monti, Joint-Secretary Mizan Malik, Organizing Secretary Shah Muhammad Motasim Billah, Treasurer- Mofizur Rahman Khan Babu, Social Welfare Secretary – M A Noman, Office Secretary – Rejaul Karim Reja, Sports Secretary- Moniruzzaman Ujjol, Cultural Secretary- Farjana Mili, Women Affairs Secretary- Auditi Rahman, Publicity Secretary Abu Yusuf Bablu.
Members are: Syful Alam, Naem Nizam, Jafor Wazed, Rofiquzzaman, Jakaria Kajol, Syed Ishtiaq Reja, Nomarul Hoque, Abul Khair, Khandokar Golam Jilani, Nasimul Ara Hoque Minu, among others.
