26th July 2005 will always be a date that is seared in every Mumbaikar’s mind. The date saw one of the most fearsome storms that hit the city of Mumbai which caused heavy rainfall and severe flooding all over. The Awakening is a short film that is directed by Faruk Kabir and stars Ajay Devgn. The film shows how our city was plunged into chaos because of our lack preparedness to deal with the heavy rain.
