Campus Report :American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) singed a tri-patriate Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) and Ernst & Young LLP (EY) recently at AIUB.AIUB was represented by its Vice-Chancellor Dr Carmen Z Lamagna, while BCC and EY was represented by Abul Kalam Azad, Joint Secretary, Ministry of ICT, Government of Bangladesh and Kamlesh Vyas, Project Director, EY. To meet the national need for training and skill development in the field of Information Technology (IT) and Information Technology Enabled Services (ITES) has been required by the Government of Bangladesh and all the other stakeholders in the country. The purpose of this association is to enable Foundation Skills and Top up IT Training Projects to implement at AIUB for their students leveraging their facilities while for AIUB the value preposition is to enable its students to get a quality employability enhancing training, with certification/ accreditation to a government/ industry body or university and enhance their employment opportunities through the job-connect component of the project.It will help AIUB become a project partner for this program and enhance faculty development opportunities.
