As part of the merger integration activities, Airtel is going to integrate its network with Robi in Rangpur, Dinajpur, Gaibandha, Kurigram, Lalmonirhat, Thakurgaon, Panchagar and Nilphamari districts under Rangpur division from Tuesday. With the network integration of the northern market cluster, Robi will get one step closer to creating the number one network of the country, said a press release.
The integrated network will combine spectrum, BTS and all other telecom network resources to ensure the best quality experience for the Airtel and Robi customers. In order to enjoy the improved network, the Airtel subscribers will be required to follow two simple steps.
Airtel users will first need to manually search for Airtel/Airtel2G/ Airtel3G/ 47002/ Robi3G/ Robi axiata/BGDRobi/Aktel from their handset network option. Airtel users can manually select any of the options mentioned.
