Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Abu Esrar on Saturday left Dhaka for Italy on a three-day official visit at the invitation of his Italian counterpart Lieutenant General Enzo VECCLARELLI.
During his visit, the air chief will exchange views with senior military and civil officials of Italy on bilateral issues, said an ISPR press release.
He will call on the chief of Italian Air Force and visit various military and civil installations of Italy.
It is expected that this visit of chief of air staff will play an important role in strengthening the existing relationship between the armed forces of Bangladesh and Italy, the release added.
