Nepal National football team forward Biman Rana on Monday said they need to get back their confidence as before from a two-match friendly series against Bangladesh.
Actually it’S not about beating ….. it’s about visible football .. we need to get confidence as before from this series ….. defiantly as being a footballer participation of friendly match or any other tournament we go for win ….. we hope we’ll win ….. it’s not compulsory that we have come here to beat Bangladesh … but definitely we respect Bangladesh,” Rana said through a video message during the team’s practice session at the Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club on Monday morning.
Seven players of the Nepal team were tested Covid-19 positive before the series against Bangladesh and asked whether their absence would create any impact on the team, Rana said they have a lot of substitute players, who have ability to fulfill the demand of the team and hoped that everything would go all right with the team.
Replying to a question the forward informed that before coming to Bangladesh they had a ten to twelve day’s training session in Nepal.
Another striker winger Bharat Khawas said they are very glad that the international match is coming back despite the pandemic.
He said the football is going down in this pandemic situation but, these two friendly matches would give them a lot of boost so they would be very happy to take part in the friend series.
