Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has taken full responsibility for treatment of popular TV and film comedian Farid Ali who has been suffering from various diseases including heart ailments.
“After reading a report of plight of Farid Ali, who is also a valiant freedom fighter, in the newspapers, the Prime Minister directed authorities concerned to arrange proper treatment for him,” The Prime Minister’s Deputy Press Secretary Ashraful Alam Khokan said.
Accordingly, Director of the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) Dr Zulfikar Lenin on Monday brought Farid Ali to National Institution of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) from his residence this evening for admission. “Farid Ali is now undergoing treatment at the NICVD,” the PM’s Deputy Press Secretary said.
