Al-Arafah Islami Bank Ltd. opened its 129th branch at Cheragali Bazaar, Tongi, Gazipur on Sunday. Chairman of the Bank Badiur Rahman inaugurated the branch as the chief guest.
Directors Alhajj Md. Harun-Ar-Rashid Khan and Alhajj Abdul Malek Mollah were present as special guests while Managing Director Md. Habibur Rahman presided over the ceremony.
Head of AIBL Dhaka North Zone Manir Ahmad delivered the welcome speech. The occasion was addressed by Col. Md. Mahbubur Rahman, President of Chergali Bazaar Samity Md. Shukkur Ali, Shareholder of the Bank Md. Alamgir Bhuiyan and Principal of Tongi darul Ulum Madrasa Mufti Moulana Masudul Karim. Among others Senior Vice President Engr. Md. Habib Ullah and Assistant Vice President Jalal Ahmed were present in the inauguration. A large number of local peoples, businessmen, clients and well-wishers participated on the program.
