An agreement between the University of Dhaka (DU) and Sunlife Insurance Company Ltd. was signed yesterday at the VC’s Lounge of DU to provide insurance coverage to teachers, officers and employees of the university, says a press release. Treasurer of DU Prof Dr Md. Kamal Uddin and Managing Director of Sunlife Insurance Company Ltd. AKM Shariful Islam signed the agreement on behalf of their respective side.
Vice-Chancellor of DU Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Admin) Prof. Dr. Muhammad Samad, Chairperson of Sunlife Insurance Company Prof. Rubina Malek, Acting Registrar Md. Enamuzzaman and some other officials from both sides were present on this occasion.
