Attorney General Mahbubey Alam said that he would convey the proposal made by the Chief Justice (CJ) to resolve the crisis over the formulation of the discipline and code of conduct for the sub-ordinate court judges to the Ministry of Law. He told this to the reporters while replying to a query on Sunday noon.
Earlier in the morning, the Chief Justice told the Attorney General, “We all justices of the Appellate Division will give you (Government) appointment since Sunday noon to Thursday midnight for discussion to settle the issue. No more delay over the issue.”
“The Law Minister and the government officials who are the experts on the rules, can attend the discussion. You (AG) also can attend,” the CJ added.
