Afzal with Farah Ruma after 14 years

Popular TV actress Farah Ruma seems noted actor and director Afzal Hossain as her working mentor or guardian in media. As a result, to work in media, she always shows her respect and affection to Afzal Hossain.
After winning the Lux Anandadhara Photo Beauty crown in 1997, Farah debuted her acting and modeling careers under the direction of Afzal Hossain. In 2001, she debuted her acting career under his direction in Anisul Haque’s written telefilm titled Shanko.
Afzal Hossain also acted against her in that telefilm. It was aired on Channel i’s founding anniversary in 2001.
After a long time 14 years break, Afzal Hossain again performed against Farah Ruma in a play titled Chor under the direction of Noim Imtiaz Neyamul. Badrul Anam Soud has written story of the play.
Once in a stormy night, Nadia takes shelter at Mr Aman’s residence. While gossiping with Mr Aman Nadia knows everything about him.
Nadia then changes her decision after knowing Mr Aman’s stories. Story turns into different track. It is the story of play Chor.
While talking about the play Afzal Hossain told this correspondent, “Basically I have no interest about acting. I have already changed my profession. But I have passion and also have affection to acting. I believe while acting everybody must be free in mind. Now I have not only to keep request to acting but also to perform for special days’ plays. I only work in their plays who understand acting properly. I try to enjoy acting.”
Farah Ruma shared her feelings to work against Afzal Hossain after many years by this way, “In media, I always believes Afzal Hossain is my guardian or mentor. I am giving thanks to Noim Imtiaz Neyamul to give me an opportunity in his directed play to cast me against Afzal Hossain. I am really feeling well to work with him after many years.”
The play Chor will be aired on GTV, said its director.
On the occasion of coming Eid-ul-Azha, Afzal Hossain will be seen to act in Arif Khan’s directed a telefilm Aamar Bela Je Jai and a play against Suborna Mustafa and Sadia Islam Mou respectively, Afzal mentioned.
On the other hand, Farah Ruma informed that she will be seen on the screen in several works including Chayanika Chowdhury’s play Hridoyer Gohiney, telefilm Srabon-er Saatdin and Anjan Aich’s play Ondhokarey Kuasha.
