Eminent director Syed Salauddin Zaki’s tele-fiction titled Ja Hariye Jai starring noted actor and director Afzal Hossain is all set to have its world premiere this Eid on
Channel i. The tele-fiction is based on Rabindranath Tagore’s short story Postmaster, said a press release.
Afzal Hossain plays the role of Rabindra Baul in the tele-fiction. Earlier on, Syed Salauddin Zaki had stated that the character of Rabindra Baul was not in the original story but was added due to the requirements of the screenplay.
Gazi Noor plays the role of the postmaster, while Jhilik Jannat essayed the role of Ratan in the film. The tele-fiction also stars Tushar Khan and Fakhrul Basher Masum, among others.
Ja Hariye Jai will be aired on Channel i at 10:15am in the morning of Eid-ul-Azha.
