Afsana Parveen, a second year student of Department of Philosophy emerged the champion while Khadiza Tahira, a fourth year student of the Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering became the runner-up in the Annual Sports Competition of Kabi Sufia Kamal Hall of Dhaka University (DU) on Wednesday. The sports meet was held at the central playground of Dhaka University.
Vice-Chancellor of Dhaka University Professor Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique distributed the prizes among the winners as the chief guest.
Earlier, Treasurer of DU Professor Dr Md Kamal Uddin inaugurated the sports competition.
Provost of Kabi Sufia Kamal Hall Professor Dr Nilufar Nahar was present on the occasion.
