AB Rokon worked as chief assistant of popular play and film director Mostafa Kamal Raj for many years. This time with Raj’s encourage and under his production AB Rokon has written his name in the list of directors.
Under Rokon’s direction and Rusho Ahmed given story concept Afran Nisho and Mehazabien Chowdhury worked as a pair in a play titled Appointment Letter. In the meantime, AB Rokon is grateful to his mentor Raj and Raj also co-operated his hands towards Rokon in case of giving direction.
Shooting of this play was done in the capital’s Uttara area on December 22 and 23.
While talking about acting in the play Afran Nisho told this correspondent, “I give congratulation to AB Rokon to start his journey as a director. I, Mehazabien and others tried our level best to make the play successful. Overall, it has become a nice play. Both I and Mehazabien are now enough matured in acting. For this reason, this time we can easily work in challenging roles. In fact, we have better understanding in case of work.”
Mehazabien shared her feelings by this way, “Story of the play is exceptional. I give congratulation to AB Rokon as director. I hope his journey as director will become successful. We have tried to make the play enjoyable. I always enjoy working with Nisho Bhai. He always experiment with acting. As a co-artiste, it always creates thinking in my mind. I believe viewers will enjoy the play.”
Rokon informed that this play will be telecast on Mostafa Kama Raj’s Youtube channel, Cinemawala in the middle of January.
Meanwhile, last week Mehazabien crossed one lakh subscribers in Mehazabien Chowdhury’s Youtube channel. She is very much joyful in this regard. For own Youtube channel she has to give more time now, she also said.
