Affleck’s sadness

The latest superhero blockbuster movie hit the big screen this weekend, and as far as comic lovers go, it’s a matchup worthy of the UFC 200.
The legendary dark knight takes the man of steel in the movie where Henry Cavill returns as Clark Kent and Ben Affleck takes his first crack at Bruce Wayne. Unfortunately, the film, directed by Zack Snyder, isn’t winning over many critics.
During an interview with Yahoo Movies, Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill were asked about the bad reviews. While Cavill was answering a question, Affleck’s apparent sad face caught the attention of a YouTube user named Sabconth. The video, which zooms in on the actor’s gloominess with Simon and Garfunkel’s “The Sound of Silence” playing in the background, quickly went viral, making him the latest meme star on the Internet. With Batman v Superman not seeming to do well, at least critics-wise, it looks like internet trolls are not yet done with making fun of him. However, the movie came roaring out of the gate with its Thursday night previews, bringing in a reported $27.7 million on its way to what is expected to be a $165 million-plus opening weekend.
