The matches of the Group-D of the AFC Cup have been postponed due to deadly outbreak of coronavirus in Male, the capital city of Maldives. The reigning champions of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Bashundhara Kings were scheduled to leave Dhaka for Male on Sunday. The Group-D matches of Asian Football Confederation (AFC Cup) were scheduled to take place at Male from May 14 to May 21.
“The Group-D matches of the AFC Cup are now postponed until further notice with more information to be announced in due course,” the statement of the AFC said on Sunday.
