Ramgarh municipality inaugurated mosquito eradication program by spraying medicine through fogger machines to kill dengue virus carrying Aedes mosquitoes recently.
Upazila Executive Officer Umme Israt inaugurated the program under the chairmanship of Municipal Mayor Mohammad Shahjahan Kazi Ripon in the administration of Ramgarh Upazila on Monday. Municipal panel Mayor-1 Ahsan Ullah, Municipal Engineer Samar Majumdar, Councilor Abul Bashar, Delwar Hossain, Upazila and Municipal Officers were present. The programme has been started by spraying the Upazila Administration Chattar, Circle Office, Ramgarh Police Station and Ramgarh Bazar areas through three fogger machines, which will be operated in different areas of the municipal wards, including reservoirs, floating places and mosquito repellent.
