The five-day admission tests for the first year honours courses for 2019-2020 academic session in Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR) will be held on November 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14 next.
The decision was taken as per proposal of Bangladesh University Council at a meeting of the admission test committee of BRUR held at conference room of the administrative building on the campus on Thursday afternoon, a press release said on Friday.
Vice-Chancellor of the university and Convener of the central admission test committee Professor Dr. Nazmul Ahsan Kalimullah presided over the meeting.
Moderated by Registrar and Member-Secretary of central admission test committee of Colonel (Retd) Abu Hena Mustafa Kamal, members of the admission test committee, deans of all six faculties and heads of all 21 departments attended the event.
As per the schedule, the online registration process of admission tests for the first year honours courses for the academic session 2019-2020 will begin from September 25 and continue till October 25 next.
Candidates will compete in the admission tests against 1,350 seats in 21 departments of six faculties of BRUR.
The BRUR authorities have advised all concerned to visit the university’s website (www.brur.ac.bd) for further details about the whole admission process.
