Top seed Adithya Karunaratne of Sri Lanka emerged girls singles champion in the Bengal Group Asian U-14 Series Tennis beating Lamisa Suchona Fabiha of Bangladesh [52] by straight 6-0, 6-0 at the Ramna National Tennis Complex on Sunday.
General Secretary of Bangladesh Tennis Federation Mohammad Abdur Rahman distributed the prize of the day’s event.
Earlier on Saturday, Michael Francis Eala of Philippine clinched double crown in the tournament by winning boys singles and double titles.
Eala clinched the boys singles title beating Ali Dewani of Bahrain by 6-3, 6-1 points while he paring with Ali Dewani won doubles title beating Reday Hasan and Saikat Shahriar of Bangladesh by 6-1, 6-4 points.
