Adithia Karunaratne of Sri Lanka clinched the title of the girls’ singles of the 9th BKSP Asian Under-14 Series Tennis Tournament when she beat Lamisa Suchana Fabiha of Bangladesh by 6-0,6-0 sets in the final at the BKSP Tennis Court on Thursday.
Lamisa Suchana Fabiha became ruuner-up.
In the boys’ singles, Ali Dawani of Bahrain defeated Md Ishtiaq of Bangladesh by 6-2, 6-2 sets in the first semifinal while M Ila of Philippines beat Md Ridoy by 6-0, 6-0 sets in the second semifinal on the same day.
Meanwhile, Ali Dawani and M Ila duo emerged champions of the boys’ doubles when they beat Mehedi Hasan and Badhon Sharif duo of Bangladesh by 6-0, 6-0 sets in the final on the same day.
Mehedi Hasan and Badhon Sharif duo of Bangladesh finished runners-up.
Today Ali Dawani will face M Ila in the final of the boys’ singles at the same venue.
The Tournament will come to an end today.
