Adequate Value Added Tax (VAT) collection is very important to make the country’s wheel functional instead of relying on foreign help, speakers at a seminar here said on Tuesday.
They viewed there is no alternative to accelerate the revenue collection from the internal resources to lessen the pressure on foreign aid.
Customs, Excise and VAT Commissionerate organized the seminar styled “Implementation of VAT and Supplementary Customs Law-2012 and Awareness building and Motivation among the taxpayers” held at Nanking Darbar in the city. More than 500 taxpayers and other officials concerned attended the seminar.
