To make the homebound journey of commuters ahead of Eidul Azha by train, additional 75 passenger coaches will join in different express and mail service of Railway, East zone .
General Manager of Bangladesh Railway Mokbul Ahmed told that before starting the special train service, additional bogies will join in intercity and mail trains very shortly. A sources of railway said the crisis of passenger bogies is prevailing in the East zone .
East zone sources said Railway Minister in the meantime assures that a total of 138 passenger bogies will add in train service across the country .
Out of total, 75 bogies in East Zone and the remaining in 63 in West Zone. East zone General Manager Mokbul Ahmed further told that advance tickets will be sold for homebound passenger on coming Eid festival from September 15 to 19 next and the return journey tickets from September 23 to 27 , sources said.
