Asian Development Bank (ADB) Country Director for Bangladesh Kazuhiko Higuchi visited LGED Bhaban, Agargaon in the city on Sunday. A short discussion meeting was held at LGED Bhaban during his visit chaired by LGED Chief Engineer Md Wahidur Rahman, says a press release.
LGED Engineer (supervisory works) Iftekhar Ahmed presented a progress report on different projects financed by ADB through a projector in the meeting.
ADB Country Director expressed his satisfaction over the development of the projects.
LGED Chief Engineer Wahidur Rahman said, ADB has first financed a small plain water species project. After successful completion of that project now LEGD has 12 projects progressing financed by ADB and 6 other projects are on the pipeline.
Later, Kazuhiko Higuchi visited GIS unit, Maintenance Unit and Laboratory of LGED.
