Dhallywood actress Eka was arrested on Saturday evening for torturing domestic help.
Police arrested Eka from her apartment in Nijhum residential area of Rampura, said Hatirjheel police station sub-inspector Harun-or-Rashid.
Police also rescued the domestic help Hazera Begum and sent her to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for treatment.The police officer said that Hazera had been working in the actress’ apartment for past few months. The 30-year-old called on National Emergency Services at 999.
