Acting on a tip off, a mobile court comprising Bangladesh Coastguard members led by Lt. Shams Sadekin, Executive Magistrate Md. Enamul Hasan and Fisheries officer Ashikur Rahman, in a sudden drive, seized huge quantity of contraband current nets worth about Tk 12 crore and fined two net traders Tk 10 thousand early hours on Friday at Kaporpotti in Hajiganj Bazar under Hajiganj Upazila Sadar. Later the nets were burnt to ashes.
