Certificate awarding ceremony of Advanced Certificate for Management Professionals (ACMP) 4.0 which was offered to develop the efficiency of mid-level managers of IT industries of the country was held on Dhaka University (DU) campus on Thursday.
Institute of Business Administration (IBA) of DU organised the function at Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban, reports BSS.
Minister of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Mustofa Jabbar gave away the certificates among the successful trainees at the programme as the chief guest.
He congratulated the participants of the course and urged them to become efficient information technology experts to play their roles in development of the country.
IBA director Professor Dr AKM Saiful Majid presided over the function. He stressed on enhancing the quality of human capital terming it the fundamental pillar for sustainable development.
A total of 358 participants enrolled in the ACMP course which was started for the first time in October 5, 2017 at IBA.
Conceived under leveraging ICT for Growth, Employment and Governance (LICT) Project of Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) of ICT Division, ACMP 4.0 is co-designed by IBA of DU, Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) and Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi.
ICT Division secretary Subir Kishore Choudhury, BCC executive director Parthapratim Deb, BACCO president Waliur Rahman Sharif and BASIS senior vice-president Farhana A Rahman also spoke, among others, at the programme.
