Earlier with actor and playwright Hasan Jahangir, popular film actresses Popi, Shimla, Ratna, among others acted. As a part
of its continuation, this time film actress Achol acted opposite him. On the occasion of coming Eid, Hasan Jahangir has made a seven-episode serial Bodyguard. Hasan Jahangir also wrote script of this Eid serial, which shooting started on Sunday in the capital’s Eskaton area.
Hasan Jahangir informed that in this serial, actress Achol is playing the role of a popular heroine with her real life’s name. Amit Hasan is acting in role of a businessman. In the beginning of the serial, Amit Hasan will be seen as husband of Achol but it was not real. Basically Amit Hasan wants to compete and also to win in the election utilizing Achol’s popularity. Don played in role of ‘Tera Babu’ in the serial. This character will create hype among the viewers, Hasan Jahangir believed.
While talking about the Eid serial, director and actor Hasan Jahangir said, “Basically story of this serial revolves with me. I am the bodyguard. In full series, I played in a dumb character. At the end, my real identity will be disclosed. I am not a dumb. I am Ashik, a DB officer. Everybody becomes astonished and at last, I find Achol in my life. It is a thriller-romantic story based drama serial. Earlier, opposite me, Popi, Shimla and Ratna acted in different works. As a part of its continuation, Achol also acted opposite in this Eid serial. Achol is a good actress. In her role, she acted well. Amit Bhai and Don are outstanding in their characters because they are viewers’ choice actors. So, I strongly believe with all of our cooperation it will become a nice work and viewers will enjoy this serial during Eid festival.”
Amit Hasan shared his feelings by this way, “Basically I do not act in television drama. I have liked Hasan Jahangir’s offer and also liked my character in Bodyguard. So, I agreed to work in this Eid serial. There are variations in my character. I hope viewers will enjoy the serial in Eid-ul-Azha.”
It is noted that Hasan Jahangir last acted opposite film actress Ratna in drama titled Nayikar Maa Ekhon Nayika. Directed by SM Rubel Rana, Sajib Chisty wrote story of this drama.
